I am very shocked at the visit today at Ashcroft surgery yes it's always bad but never this bad. First of all I had made 86 phone calls at half past eight in the morning lasted roughly ten minutes to get through and all the appointments have been taken so it was a case of emergancy appointment sit and wait from ten in the morning it was made a double appointment i told the lady on the phone that there was two things wrong with both of us. Waited to see the doctor. Went in an explained the problems she was very rushed it seemed like she had no time for me, she became very rude when I started to say something else was wrong she said there are others to be seen this is on. I explained i had spoke on the phone when booking appointment an that it takes days.. weeks months to get in to there as I had rang 86 times. She started to examine my daughter she was very rough with her almost like she had to take it out on her shes 6 years old shes waiting to be diagnosed with autism so u can imagine the struggle of the rushing an roughness with her she was crying out for me to help her the doctor she had pushed the stick right at the back of her throat she looked pinned to the wall by her an my daughter was gagging she was scared an in pain she said mummy my throat she made her panic an was rough.. also rammed a pulse checker on her finger it was wedged in so was nipping her finger, sticking ear light in her ears hard i felt sick watching her do it. Then I mentioned something else needed checking she said am afraid I can't check her you will have to make another appointment shes 6 years old a child she refused so now i will have to ring 111 an go through them to get her seen. She also showed me in anger on the screen off all the people she was seeing that day saying how busy she was with five min appointment 10mins appointments thats also confidential information on her screen she was showing me i just got coats on an left the room how awful really rude. My daughter has gone to school now in tears an will be hard to get her near a doctor again.. also I will be making a formal complain about this to CQC regarding lack of care and lack of confidentially
